Pain in ear due to tooth
I am undergoing RCT in which one canal's obturation is pending. But from past 1 week I am constantly feeling pain in my ear, rather I would say jaw bone nearer to my ear. I also have the x-ray of tooth which is my current situation. Please help me in understanding why is this pain due to?

Pain is due to infection which will subside with sitting, Take medicines as prescribed by your dental surgeon.

Hi, It's called as radiating pain because of the tooth involved. Right after the completion of RCT pain will subside.

Take medication as prescribed by your dentist.

Hi...the pain is common after post root canal treatment.No need to worry.Take the medications as prescribed by ur dentist regularly.Once the treatment is completely over the pain will subside gradually.

Visit dentist immediately if the pain is more,so that they could find the cause and prescribe better medication.

Post RCT pain ho sakta hai.Once RCT is completed it will be alright after few days .,till then you can consult your dentist and take some pain killer.

Pain during rct is common , at times overinstrumentation  can also  lead to pain which is reffered to d ear . Or high contact  point  with opposing tooth can also lead to this . For temprory  releif u start of painkiller sos . If still it persists than visit ur dentist and get it checked for high point .
