Your symptoms suggest malabsorption and digestive dysfunction, potentially due to: Possible Causes: 1️⃣ Lactose or Gluten Intolerance – Symptoms worsen after wheat/milk tea but improve with probiotic curd. 2️⃣ Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) – Greasy, foul-smelling stools indicate fat malabsorption. 3️⃣ Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) – Gas, bloating, and food regurgitation. 4️⃣ Gastritis/GERD – Burning pain and reflux-like symptoms. 5️⃣ Liver or Gallbladder Dysfunction – Fatty stools and digestive enzyme imbalance. 6️⃣ Parasitic Infection or Gut Dysbiosis – Ornidazole targets protozoa/bacteria, which suggests your doctor suspects this. What You Can Do: ✔ Continue prescribed medications but monitor response. ✔ Avoid wheat, dairy, and processed sugars for now. ✔ Increase probiotics (curd, fermented foods) to restore gut flora. ✔ Eat smaller, frequent meals and include easy-to-digest foods. ✔ Check vitamin B12, D, and iron levels (deficiencies can cause fatigue & itching). ✔ Consider a stool test for malabsorption markers, parasites, or pancreatic function. If symptoms persist, consult a gastroenterologist for celiac disease testing (anti-TTG IgA), pancreatic enzyme tests (fecal elastase), or an abdominal ultrasound to rule out deeper issues.
