I understand your concern . I need you to narrate me the nature of pain ,sensation to cold and hot food substance. otherwise i suspect it could be hyper ocvlusion of the crown , it can be corrected by your dentist

Usually, it is quite unlikely to have persistent pain after RCT and crown placement. However, some times it might take some time to get adjusted to the new crown. It is common.
Next Steps
If the pain persists even after another week, kindly visit back your dentist. To consider to check for high points.
Health Tips
Make sure to rinse/ gargles after every meal.

It can be due to overcementation of the crown or high points or poor marginal seal. The reason can be cleared only after a xray so visit your dentist for the same.

Please attach an XRAY of your Root Canal treated tooth. Sometimes pain can be there due to high points on the crown also. Visit the concerned dentist to get that checked.
Next Steps
Take pain killers and anti inflammatory if needed. Get an XRAY of the concerned tooth and attach that.
