Orthodontic treatment
I'm having an overjet in my front teeth and a buccal cross bite on the left side (upper 2 molars). I have visited few orthodontist and all have suggested to go for braces treatment which will take atleast 2.5 to 3 years. It will also affect my eating habits and may be a little painful since the molars have to be shifted along with the overjet correction. I have just started my career and don't want the braces treatment to affect my daily routine or the pain arising due to it shifting my focus. Also the duration is quite long. Is there any other way to get it corrected?  According to the doctors Invisible aligners will be very expensive and have very low efficiency for cases like mine. If there are better option to get it corrected?

Hi, you should definitely go for a orthodontic treatment. Braces don’t affect your daily routine and believe me if taken well care of, you can eat everything. There’s a way to chew when your braces are on. Opt for a video consultation for a better discussion of your treatment plan and how to go about it. and you don’t have to put braces for 2.5-3 years, it doesn’t take that much time if you are regular with your treatment and don’t do any breakages.

For another one year or more, mask would be compulsory.  Braces can be worn. Clear aligners help in difficult cases. But do see an orthodontist and choose a good brand that's planned by your orthodontist though expensive since they'd give promised reaults

You do not have an option other than to get your teeth aligned properly. Why care for what other think at workplace!! It’s your health which you should be concerned about. Cross bites can cause a lot of food lodgement and brushing will not clean such areas. You can consider a combination of ceramic braces and invisible Aligners.. wear ceramic brackets for 8-10/12 months and when the cross bite and deep bit gets corrected a bit you can shift to Aligners Hope this helps Cheers
Next Steps
Visit any orthodontist. They should be able to help you.

As per information received, looks like braces is the only treatment to get your malocclusion corrected. But treatment can be completed with in 2 years as per the occlusion details you have given. Better if you can share some pics of your occlusion..
Next Steps
best time to get your treatment done as mask is there now a days. so half of treatment can be completed before this corona goes
Health Tips
better to get it started at some orthodontist clinic. not on some clinic where orthodontist is visiting.
