Tongue Thrusting Treatment
I am suffering from Tongue Thrusting habit, it's cause open bite and gaps between teeth, present iam taking orthodontic treatment for gaps between teeth, but for Tongue Trusting my doctor told me there is no treatment, and he said after treatment again gaps will occur in one year. Is there any Treatment for Tongue Trusting and gaps between teeth Thank you

Hello sir.?   Yes the tongue thrusting habit can be corrected.....the treatment depends on degree of tongue thrust and the type of tongue thrusting.....it can be corrected by fixed or removable orthodontic appliance

There is a treatment for tongue thrusting and depends on the type and extent. Get a checkup done once. That would help in proper diagnosis and thus help you with the treatment

Yes tongue thrusting habit can be corrected. But it needs to be frst decide which type of tongue thrust it is. There are certain exercises which are done plus certain orthodontic fixed and removable appliances are used to correct it. But this is only decided by an orthodontist which appliance should be used.
