The white coating on the tongue forms daily due to the breakdown of the food we chew. So, it has to be cleaned everyday to avoid bad breath.
Younger can be cleaned by/
1) brushing the tongue with a toothbrush
2) using a plastic or a stainless steel tongue cleaner. A tongue cleaner is used in back to front motion gently keeping it in contact with the tongue. Definitely it will get cleaned. Tongue cleaning can be done more frequently like twice a day also if heavy accumulation of white coat occurs.
Next Steps
Kindly be careful not to do excessive tongue cleaning causing injury and bleeding from the tongue surface
