Black spots on tongue
Hello doctor
I have black spots on my tongue.
No itching, burning sensation but when I just checked my tongue found it
I have attached the photos for reference
Please let me know what is it and should I be concerned

Thank you for your concern , it is melanin hyperpigmentation do not worry about it .
Some time it appears due to hormonal changes.

It looks like melanin hyper pigmentation. If asymptomatic, not to worry. If it increase in size or any variation, only then to be worried. Maintain good oral hygiene, scrape your tongue daily.

They may be hyperpigmentation of the tounge .most of the times they are harmless.it can be treated with laser. You may consult an oral pathologist.
