Iam doing orthodontic treatment about 2.5 year . before treatment doctor extracted my 4 teeth .now the one side upper jaw portion gap not yet closed .also observed that my facial symmetry gone worse after the treatment.and molar teeth position went more inside of my mouth.now my face look more sunken and after tightening my braces about 24 days passed my lower jaw portion more paining on sleeping time.cant able to sleep properly due to this,what should I do?is that normal,iam also worried this treatment ,my ortho can't finished till now?iam loosing patience?

As your treatment is not yet finished i cannot comment on symmetry and molar position as treatment is going on.
Every individual's body will react and respond differently to treatment depending on severity, depending upon bone how fast it's moving and responding, Process cannot be rushed to enhance quick results.

*Apply ice pack to the jaw ,to get pain relief ,if this doesn't help you can take painkiller
*If pain is unbearable consult you dental surgeon
Dear Sir. I understand that your Orthodontic treatment took a while. But the treatment time varies for each patient. Some times it can be longer or shorter duration than usual. Regarding pain in the lower jaw . If the pain is only for a few days. It is temporary. But if you feel pain is severe and has been for many days. Discuss with your Orthodontist in person . As they can figure out what exactly is happening. Avoid self diagnosis. Hope this helped.
