Hello
Plz attach before treatment photographs also.in between orthodontic treatment thr s many phase seen many changes in face appearance seen.but when it completed doctor ll satisfy you.
Orthodontic treatments can have various effects on facial appearance, but it's essential to consider that factors like facial asymmetry, nose deviation, and lip proportions can be influenced by a variety of factors beyond orthodontic treatment alone.
Facial Asymmetry: It's common for humans to have some degree of facial asymmetry, where one side of the face may be slightly different from the other. This can be influenced by factors like genetics, habits, and even natural growth patterns.
Nose Deviation: A slightly deviated nose could be due to various factors, including genetics, injuries, or natural growth. Orthodontic treatment typically focuses on aligning teeth and jaws and may not directly impact the alignment of the nose.
Lip Proportions: The proportions of the upper and lower lips can be influenced by various factors, including genetics, skeletal structure, muscle attachments, and more. Orthodontic treatment primarily focuses on dental alignment and bite correction.
Orthodontic treatment aims to improve the alignment of teeth and jaws, which can indirectly affect the overall appearance of the face, especially the smile. However, it's not typical for orthodontic treatment alone to cause significant changes in nose deviation or lip proportions.
If you're concerned about changes in your facial appearance after orthodontic treatment, I recommend discussing your concerns with a qualified orthodontist or a maxillofacial specialist. They can provide a professional assessment and offer insights into how various factors might be contributing to your specific situation.
Remember that facial appearance can be influenced by a combination of factors, and a comprehensive evaluation by a dental professional is the best way to understand your individual case.
