Open Pores
I have open pores on my nose and some acne. I am using a face wash with 2% salicylic acid and 2% nicinamide twice daily from last 1 month but open pores are still visible, what to do? I have extremely oily face, every 2 hours face gets oily more on nose area and forehead. Also what is correct way to use this sliycinamide face wash to get maximum effect, earlier I used to apply it on wet face but then I read online that apply on dry face and wait 1-2 min and then rinse it to increase effect of active ingredients in face wash.

2% niacinamide is mild. You can switch to 5% strength for better results. Use the niacinamide face wash twice daily, massage gently for 30sec on damp face, but facewash alone doesn’t give any results, they are for cleansing not as a treatment modality. For persistent open pores, adding a retinoid at night may help.
Next Steps
Consult online if the issue persists despite using multiple products.
