You didn't share your reports. When you are Vit B12 deficient you should take Vit B12 tablet. Hyquit tablet is a multivitamin tablet which "also contains" Vit B12. That is not the full dose which is required to treat Vit B12 deficiency.

Hyquit tablet is usually a combination supplement containing: • Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) • Folic acid • Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) • Sometimes other B-complex components It is generally safe when taken in recommended dose. However, whether you need it — and for how long — depends on: • Your actual B12 level • Presence of anemia • Symptoms (fatigue, tingling, hair fall, etc.) If you have confirmed B12 deficiency, treatment duration is different from simply taking it as a “general supplement.”
Next Steps
If your B12 level is: • Below 200 pg/mL → Deficiency → Usually 6–8 weeks treatment minimum • 200–350 pg/mL → Borderline → 1–3 months supplementation • Normal (>350–400) → No long course needed Typical safe plan (if mild deficiency): ✔ 1 tablet daily after food ✔ Continue for 6–8 weeks ✔ Recheck B12 after 2–3 months Do not take indefinitely without testing. It is safe for most people, but high-dose B6 long-term should not be used unnecessarily.
Health Tips
✔ Check B12 before starting long-term supplementation ✔ If vegetarian, B12 supplementation may be needed longer ✔ Improve dietary sources (eggs, dairy, meat if applicable) ✔ Combine with iron correction if anemia present ✔ Do not self-medicate for months without follow-up testing Hyquit is generally safe short-term, but correct duration depends on your blood levels. If you share your exact B12 value and hemoglobin level, I can tell you the exact duration and whether oral tablets are enough or injections are needed. Booking an online consultation would help create a structured deficiency correction plan instead of guesswork.

Hyquvit is a multivitamin supplement and is generally safe if taken for nutritional deficiency. Usually it is taken once daily for a few weeks, but the exact duration depends on your B12 level and other deficiencies. It’s better not to take it long-term without checking your reports, as the treatment plan may differ depending on the deficiency. Based on your symptoms, this may require proper clinical assessment and prescription. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment plan.

Hyquvit is a multivitamin supplement containing B-complex vitamins and other nutrients, which can help support mild vitamin deficiencies but may not correct severe B12 deficiency alone.
Next Steps
You may take Hyquvit tablet once daily after food for about 4–6 weeks. If your B12 level is very low, take Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg once daily for 6 to 8 weeks
Health Tips
Include foods rich in Vitamin B12 such as milk, curd, eggs, fish, and chicken in your diet. Vegetarians may require longer supplementation. If you developed any tingling sensation ,you can contact me any time on Practo for further consultation.

Dear Patient, HyQvit tablet is a nutritional supplement usually containing Vitamin B12 along with other B-complex vitamins. It is generally safe when taken in recommended doses. For mild deficiency, it can be taken once daily after food for 1–3 months. Duration depends on how low your levels are and your symptoms. If Vitamin B12 levels are very low or you have significant symptoms (severe fatigue, tingling, numbness), injectable B12 may be required instead of tablets. I advise checking your recent Vitamin B12 report and consulting for proper dosage and duration rather than taking it long term without monitoring. Repeat levels after 2–3 months.
