Hello, as you said there is only numbness that means it is due to having bad posture and may be vit B12 deficiency.. When you left your hand in same position without any movement then it will cause pressure on nerve results in entrapment or compression. If there is pain and needle sensation with numbness then you may have carpel tunnel syndrome or neck related issues.
Next Steps
- Maintain a good body posture. - Do simple hand movements in between. - Do stretching of arm, foream, wrist and fingers. - Simple ROM exe of shoulder and hand. - Neck isometrics. - Strengthening exercise of arm and forearm. - Take a simple walk in between your work. - Take vitB12 supplement. - Healthy good vitamins and protein rich diet. - Check for any radiculopathy or any other syndrome.
Health Tips
- Don’t allow your arm to stay in one position for so long. - Do not over stretch. - Consult a good physiotherapist or else you can consult me for further details.
