Hi, my friend is going through an emotional state from the last one year. She always negative & overthinks, feeling unloved and unwanted, state of confusion. Is she going through some problem? As she was always positive and jolly person.

I can see that you're writing on behalf of your friend. It reflects on your care for her. You've mentioned about change in her emotional state. Although it is difficult to conclusively say what may have led to this, it will be helpful if you try to strike a conversation with her. Sometimes, talking to a loved one may not resolve our problems directly, but can help us feel calmer and supported. If your emotional capacity allows you, I'll encourage you to provide her this support by listening to her. You can surely encourage her to connect with a counselor, where she will receive a safe and non-judgemental space to discuss her concerns. Oftentimes we bottle up our emotions so that we don't end up overburdening our friends and family. I hope the reassurance she receives from you will encourage her to seek support. I'd also insist you to be mindful of your own emotions during this. It's certainly not easy to see our dear ones experience a difficult time. I hope this gives you some clarity.
