Needed Psychological counselling
Due to some conflicting issues in the family, she developed stress which leads to an anxiety mixed with depression, always negative thoughts are going in mind ,no good sleep, awakes too early in the morning, so psychiatrist suggested psychological counselling.

What your doctor suggested u should follow. In the meantime you can help her to motivate for 1 half an hrs physical exercise daily 2 writing gratitude 3 making list of things she used to love to do n pramote her to pursue atleast a day

Hello, She is already on medication,having issues in the family and negative thoughts as well,it is better if she consults a clinical psychologist wherein  behavioral changes and dealing with the conflicting situations will be discussed in detail

All the symptoms that you mentioned are clear-cut signs of mental illness. The mind and body are connected, so mental issues manifest themselves as physical issues as well. It's important for her to explore her issues in a safe space--like during a counselling session. I would highly recommend going for therapy.

Your presentation of depressive  &  symptoms, sleep disturbance are comorbid in different clinical conditions. Anyways continue medication from your psychiatrist & also take Cognitive behavioral therapy. (CBT). Do connect to me on practo consult to do help.

If the psychiatrist has referred please visit a counselor,counselors are trained in a way to understand your problems in an unbiased,non judgemental  way.feel free to see one,till then ask her to practice relaxation it will help her to understand herself properly.

Therapy or Counselling will be useful for the person to open up and share their feelings.. And generally people  feel. Light once they share their feelings.. It is also because, professional people like us, listen to you from a neutral perspective..
