Need advice on medicines
Hello Doctor My husband is 42 years old and he is under fertility treatment. He is taking intra muscular injections Pubergen 5000(Monday and Thursday) and Inj. Humog 75(Wednesday and Saturday). He is taking these injections for almost 1.3 months. His Triglycerides will be always high. 6 months back, we took his lipid profile and it was 900 mg/dl. But now 3 days we have checked his lipid and it was 4700 mg/dl. We were shocked after seeing this. Could you please help me by saying that the fertility injections he is taking increases his cholesterol and triglycerides?? Please help if this increase in cholesterol levels is because of the fertility drugs.

It is 1.3 months or 13 months. Please consult the doctor who has prescribed Pubergen and Humolog. For a patient of 42 years age I would have suggested ICSI or donor sperm.
