Neck fracture of 5th metacarpal.
It happened on 1st feb, I had half cast plaster for 5 days and complete plaster for 49 days, I removed the plaster on 26 march, but in the yesterday's x ray it is not in the normal position, what should I do, should I still wear splint, kindly advise me.

It was straightforward surgery or reduction and plaster at first day . If not happy with movements and cosmetic appearance then go for corrective osteotomy and fixafion earliest possible time

Splints will no more help you . Either accept the deformity and carry forward you life or get it operated if problematic .

It's not in normal position. You have to undergo surgery

Sir, As per the limited view from the X ray, it is malunited. Kindly share proper X ray views as i am not able to make out the deformity clearly. Regards Dr Prasad

Your fracture is not uniting in normal position… its tilted downwards . Wearing a splint wont work now as already its been 10 weeks aprox. You either accept this deformity with no functional limitation or get surgery done for correction
