Does hairline fracture need plaster?
Hello, I am mother of a 12 year old girl. 3 days ago she hurt his hand while cycling and the x-ray shows a hairline fracture, the doctor put on a plaster on the hand and gave her medicines. I am not a doctor but, does hairline fracture need plaster? I thought a bandage is enough.

It is always better to put a plaster in any case of  fracture. It gives complete rest to the fracture and other soft tissue structures around it for it to heal.
