My queries
My daughter is 5 years old . She is having a pain in her side tooth for few days. But there is no sign of cavity. We visited to doctor he said that she had a infected root so RCT or extraction is to be done.  My queries is if I extract the milk teeth now then will the next new parmanent teeth come out on that place at the time of eruption of new teeth. Thank you please suggest me .

Hi, If the tooth is infected, pulpectomy is the first choice. If pain doesn’t reduce even after antibiotics and medication, then go for extraction. But don’t forget to place a space maintainer after extraction so that the permanent tooth erupts in the right position later.

Hello Your query is highly justifiable that wether child tooth will come or not at that place. There is always a eruption sequence doctor asked you for rct as they can preserve the same tooth till your permanent teeth erupts , otherwise if you extract the tooth then your child will have to wear space maintainer till permanent tooth erupts.
Next Steps
consult a dentist
