It sounds like the surgery was a success and the incision is healing well. If both sutures have come off and the incision is closed, there is no need to worry. The incision will continue to heal on its own and will eventually disappear.
Here are a few things you can do to help the incision heal:
Keep the area clean and dry.
Avoid picking at the incision.
Use a warm compress on the area for 10-15 minutes a few times a day.
Apply an antibiotic ointment to the incision as directed by your doctor.
If you have any concerns about the healing of your incision, please contact your doctor.
As for the recurrence of mucocele, it is possible for it to come back even after removal. However, the risk of recurrence is relatively low. If you do experience a recurrence, your doctor may recommend a different treatment option, such as marsupialization.

From your description ( in the absence of any picture) it appears that the mucocele on the lower lip was a tiny one (as per your words, the incision is closed.).
In such a scenario, it shall heal by itself.
However if it was a large one, it would lead to secondary healing, leaving a bump in that region which would defeat the purpose of having taken out the mucocele in the first place.
Hope this helps.
