hello, It MAY be a mucocele. . what has happened is when u had bitten your lip, u have accidentally obstucted a duct of a minor salivary gland.. so what happens is the fluid starts accumulating as the opening is obstructed.. Ok now coming to treatment.. Most of the times it doesnt require any treatment.. and it doesnt usually cause any problem.. but if u feel it irritating. You can meet your dentist and request them to remove it using a LASER.

Hi, mucocele occurs when the ducts of minor salivary glands get damaged due to bitting of lips repeatedly. Some mucocele resolve on their own and for some mucocele minor surgical procedure should be done to remove it under local anesthesia. Its better to consult the dentist for further treatment.
