hi, normally it subsides on its own but if it doesnt please visit a periodontist and get it removed. do remember that still it has a chance to re-occur. i know it can be irritating at times but usually its a minor issue and can be resolved easily. the best results are achieved b using laser to remove the mucocele.
Hi..it could be due to a condition know as mucocoele formation..that is due to trauma of the salivary gland..its removal is a simple procedure and is done under local anaesthesia..rest Will be confirmed after a clinical investigation..
As per your query please Visit us an oral surgeon to get it rectified.it is mucocele.

hi, If the mucocele is small do not do anything but if big & bothering you you can get it removed by oral surgeon .This is a simple procedure done under local anaesthesia.
hello,
It MAY be a mucocele. . what has happened is when u had bitten your lip, u have accidentally obstucted a duct of a minor salivary gland.. so what happens is the fluid starts accumulating as the opening is obstructed..
Ok now coming to treatment.. Most of the times it doesnt require any treatment.. and it doesnt usually cause any problem.. but if u feel it irritating. You can meet your dentist and request them to remove it using a LASER.
Hi, mucocele occurs when the ducts of minor salivary glands get damaged due to bitting of lips repeatedly. Some mucocele resolve on their own and for some mucocele minor surgical procedure should be done to remove it under local anesthesia. Its better to consult the dentist for further treatment.
