Small fluid filled lump in lower lip
Hello For the past one week am having a small fluid filled lump in lower lip. Remember biting that area very bad when having food last week. From then it swell to 2/3 mm then burst out. After that the sore stayed for a day and it gets to refill again. This time a smaller bump and ruptures again. I have observed this to start swelling once I chew my food. As my lower teeth brushes it when I eat or chew something. Right now this is my third swelling and about to rupture again. Can any one advise if this is similar to a mucocele. If so is there any possibility for me to treat it ? Right now am applying kenacort gel and salt water gargle with advise from a nearby dentist (not a surgeon) Kindly advise. My worry is how long will this take to settle. The lump swells no more than 2mm and bursts itself. Then a day of relief and it comes again. One of the recent pic attached

Hi, You may have to undergo a small procedure to remove the the mucocele. There is nothing to worry. Once the procedure is done, you will recover in 2 to 3 days.
