Lump inside my lip
Hi, I have a lump on my lower inner lip, it started with a small ulcer, however the ulcer got cleared in 5 days but then a lump was formed which still exists. It is not painful, but not vanished from past 8 days. Attaching few pics for reference.

It is an mucocele,it is caused due to rupture of minor salivary duct and leads to accumulation of mucus and cause swelling ,it should be surgically removed.

Seems like mucocele only but it has to be vanished with in 4 to 6 weeks if no means go to a Dr for better evaluation

Hello This is a mucocele, which can be removed by succession. Sometimes it goes off by bursting, but if it doesn’t go in one week, please visit the dentist for the excision of the mucocele

This is a classic mucocele. Which is basically trapped mucous secretions from minor salivary glands which are present on the lips. Could have happened due to some trauma such as lip biting which could have been accidental. Usually treatment by complete excision of the lesion. Generally done under local anaesthesia.

It Appears to be a mucocele which is nothing but a swollen minor salivary gland which is present in your lip.
Next Steps
Surgical Removal of the Affected gland will resolve the swelling

That looks like a mucocele . Sometimes it’s bursts open and can be recurring, please visit a dentist get yourself evaluated . If a mucocele you may need to get it removed
