I am suffering from mouth Opening problem due to chewing of gutkha now I have quit the chewing of gutkha since september 2020 but my mouth is still not open due to lock of jaw only two fingers is going inside please suggest me proper remedies and I can not eat hot and spicy food due to fibrosis inside mouth

Hi...its good that u have quitted the habit atleast for now.The restricted mouth opening u have is due to the condition called Oral submucous fibrosis.Don't worry.It can be treated by eliminating the habit permanently,taking good nutritional diet,proper medications and physiotherapy.In severe cases surgical options are also available.
