However my other always recalls old small small things even 20-25 years old as well and starts arguments with my father and gets too much angry and start crying many times.

Thank you for sharing this. Your concern for your mother is genuine and deeply important. Based on the behaviors you’ve described - frequent recall of past events, emotional outbursts, repeated arguments, crying, and inability to let go of old issues - there may be more than just physical health involved.
Next Steps
1. Long-standing unresolved emotional trauma or relationship stress
2. Depressive or mood disorder features, especially in women around midlife
3. Cognitive rigidity or early signs of mild cognitive impairment
4. Unmet emotional needs, leading to emotional venting or “ruminative” thinking
5. Hormonal changes (menopause-related) can worsen emotional reactivity
6. Diabetes and thyroid disorders themselves can affect mood and brain chemistry
Health Tips
Psychiatric/Psychological Evaluation: A mental health professional can assess whether she has mood disorder, adjustment issues, or early cognitive changes.
Counseling/Therapy: Often, narrative therapy or family therapy helps process old emotional pain in a healthy way.
Medical Review: Get her thyroid and sugar levels checked again, as instability can cause mood swings.

Your mother’s behavior frequent emotional outbursts, recalling old painful memories, crying, and anger could be signs of unresolved emotional wounds, possible hormonal imbalances (due to age, thyroid), or even early symptoms of mood or cognitive changes like depression or mild cognitive impairment, which often go unnoticed in women around menopause/post-menopause.
What you’re seeing isn’t just stubbornness it may be emotional pain she never got a chance to heal from. The solution is gentle psychological support, not forceful reasoning. Convince her to visit a mental health professional for a proper assessment. Meanwhile, listen without trying to fix everything sometimes just feeling heard reduces half the emotional burden. Therapy, even once a week, can help her release what she’s holding onto for years.
