M not having confdnc on m
Sir, from childhood I'm very shy and get nervous when im going to meet or talk to strangers. I don't like to attend social gatherings, meeting, functions. I'm not like all others.. I get very nervous whenever I have to attend meetings.. Important thing is I'm not having confidence on me.. Some times I felt I'm not suitable for anything.. I want to change myself and I awant to be successful in my personal life and career life also.. Plz suggest, is this curable with medicines.. Plzz suggest.. My age is 35.. Male

It looks like you are having social anxiety. It is very much treatable and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)has a good success rate in dealing with social anxiety. Your age doesn't really matter in this case.

It is curable . Many a times you may not require  medications to resolve all those issues. If you can consult a Psychological Counsellor  and share your feelings and incidents with them  ,  may be you can lead a happy and peaceful. Life.

You will do well to learn the art of meditation. Regular meditation under the initial guidance of a Guru will certainly help you. Please also take up a game which involves you in a group such as Basketball, tennis, cricket etc. or join a class to learn classical music or dance. Meanwhile you are advised to consult a psychiatrist in person. You may be suffering from low grade chronic depression which a psychiatrist will be able to deal with through minimum medicines.
