Stiffness in back and neck related to arthritis also. So x ray and blood investigation will be helpful for further evaluation. If x ray shows sacroilitis then need to do HLA B27 test.

Constant sitting in one position will cause low back pain. Things you have written may be you have muscle spasm due to arthopathy of spine. Mobilization is helpful to release spasm and arthopathy. At home apply hot formentation in  back gives short term instant relief.

This is probably related to a disc problem. The only way of finding out is by doing an MRI scan of the spine. In the meantime you can take OTC pain medicines and apply a towel soaked in warm water to the back or adult a hot water bag. This will help relax the muscles in the back. If pain persists beyond 3 days visit the local ortho surgeon who can examine the back and order the appropriate scan or xrays. Avoid bending forwards or lifting baby weights until your pain is completely relieved.
