I had chronic fissure & bleeding for 6 years . So I underwent kshara sutra thinking it's less painful. But the thread changing sessions went on for 2 months & even after that there was lot of pain & didn't seem like it was healing. So I underwent another fissure tissue removal surgery 4 months ago. I had followed everything doc had told. I was getting better. But I have had pain & can't manage a day without 2 sitz bath. Moreover even after following all that, I've been having a strange lower abdominal pain & further the whole lower body starts paining. More like pulling & burning .I even have the anal pain. There's no bleeding or pus. But pain.I really have no energy to undergo another surgery. This is my 5th surgery & I have other health probs too. Already lost 20kgs coz of previous surgeries.Feeling more weak now. Also want to mention that in college, i had eaten lot of slate pencils for 3 years. Is that the reason? Now i don't eat. I can't quit my job too. Please help & guide 😭 painful

Anal fissure is a small tear or crack in the lining of the anus, most commonly caused by passing hard or large stools and straining during constipation. It can also result from repeated diarrhea, prolonged or frequent bowel movements, childbirth, anal trauma, or local inflammation. Persistent muscle spasm of the anal sphincter can reduce blood flow to the area and delay healing, causing a fissure to become chronic. Less commonly, recurrent fissures may be associated with conditions such as Crohn’s disease or other intestinal disorders.

Hello practo user
There is need for a detailed case history discussion since your health concerns are chronic and also the anal fissure treatment requires time and proper evaluation of symptoms. You can also consult me online on 787781821five.
I’m really sorry you’ve been going through this for so many years. With a history of chronic anal fissure, multiple procedures, persistent anal pain despite surgery, and now lower abdominal/pelvic pain radiating towards the legs, I would not recommend simply continuing to manage the pain with sitz baths or undergoing another procedure without first understanding why the pain is persisting.
Your symptoms need a proper evaluation, especially considering the history of multiple surgeries and significant weight loss/weakness.
The history of eating slate pencils for several years is also important to mention to your doctor, as it can be associated with nutritional deficiencies, particularly iron deficiency, and may warrant blood investigations.
If you would like, you may consult me for a detailed case assessment. I can review your complete history, previous surgery/procedure reports, medications, bowel habits, pain pattern and investigations and help you understand the possible contributing factors and what further evaluation may be appropriate.
Supportive treatment can then be planned according to your individual case, while working alongside your colorectal/appropriate specialist when necessary.
