Low Vitamin D and high cholesterol
Hi, My blood reports are quite concerning. My vitamin D is extremely low i.e 1. Vitamin D- 5.4 ng/ml and high cholesterol 2. Non HDL cholesterol - 177 mg/dl 3. LDL cholesterol - 156 mg/dl Could you please help me with the diet chart or any food habits that I need to change.

Healthy afternoon, Low vitamin D levels could result in dyslipidemia . And lipid abnormalities- that is , an increase in triglycerides, total cholesterol and LDL-C , and decreased HDL-C levels- For vitamin D : You can boost vitamin D levels by spending some time in sun, eating foods with vitamin D or taking vitamins D supplements. Add in diet whole egg, oily fish , mushrooms For cholesterol: 1. Add in diet color ful fruits and vegetables 2. Whole grain: oats, quinoa, flaxseed, millets , whole wheat 3. Meat and beans: choose skinless cuts or lean protein Protein rich beans such as black beans, soy , kidney beans 4 Nuts and seeds: stoke up plain variety 5. Dairy/ calcium: milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, Canned fish such as tuna, sardines, salmon also packs of calcium. Vegan- fortified cereals, cereals, green leafy, also soy, almond milk and coconut milk. 6. Omega rich foods add in diet 7. Healthy oils Avoid: saturated fat and trans fats, salt, processed meat, sugar.

Hello! Avoid deep fried foods for 6 weeks,and take 2 glass of luke warm water in the early morning before 1 hour of breakfast. Do exercise like brisk walking,jogging,cycling etc. Eat your dinner early(most important). You will find good results God willingly. Stay blessed. Thankyou!

Mandatory take vitamin d supplements like sunbless.. once in 4 days. Stop fried and salty

60000 IU Vit D3 once in a week is the recommendation in 4 weeks. It will balance vitamin D levels
