Based on your symptoms ,it may be
Relapse of Typhoid (Recrudescence):
Typhoid can relapse if the initial infection wasn't fully eradicated.
This usually happens 1â3 weeks after treatment ends, but can sometimes be delayed.
Symptoms can be milder the second time.
A blood culture is more helpful than a Widal test for confirming active infection.
Post-Infectious Fatigue or Low-Grade Inflammation:
Some people feel unwell for weeks/months after a serious infection like typhoid.
Evening fevers and dry mouth may be part of a lingering inflammatory response.
Next Steps
Repeat blood cultures or stool cultures for Salmonella typhi/paratyphi. Tests for TB, CMV/EBV, and brucellosis (especially if you're in a region where these are endemic). Consider basic autoimmune panel (ANA, RF, etc.).

You Could get yourself tested again.
