Hello, Weight loss is a process and it has to be done the "right" way to ensure it is sustainable and long-lasting. To achieve a considerable weight loss a customized diet is highly recommended for you as it takes into account your lifestyle, routine, medical conditions if any, medications, eating habits, sleep, stress, height, weight, etc. This helps in identifying the gap areas and correcting them accordingly. Hi For weight loss..please have more seasonal fruits and vegetables..more fiber in your diet, moderate biological value protein I,e especially plant based is very healthy, if non veg have fish and chicken only...no red meats.. Have complex carbs such as whole grain cereals, millets, bran, whole pulses etc..for daily consumption.. Keep portion sizes on check...have limited quantities of food..not more in quantity.. Have Soaked Almonds, walnuts along with soaked water.. drink warm water with key lime juice and a pinch of salt upon raising on empty stomach , acts as an effective home remedy for weight loss, regular drinking of water atleast an average of 6 to 8 glasses as it helps in proper digestion and for weight loss too.. Less fat, you can consume 1 tsp ghee in dal everyday as ghee is low in GI and a fat burner too...usage of  cooking oils should be til oil , olive oil, safflower oil etc.. Some healthy changes in lifestyle along with dietary modifications  helps in maintaining normal health and well being.. Regular exercises, walking , yoga atleast 30 mins each day on all the days is very beneficial for weight loss.. Milk and milk products should be consumed in lesser quantities... Skimmed milk, or low fat milk is useful.. No to imported veggies and fruits, No to sugar and sugary items.. Yes u have to plan a healthy diet for fitness and health. Eat plenty of vegetables,fruits and greengram sprouts for breakfast ,lunch and dinner. Avoid fastfood,preserved food,non veg,spicy oily foods. Drink enough water,buttermilk everyday. Walk,yoga,exercise everyday for an hour atleast. Dryfruits as dates,raisins,almonds,walnuts figs are good everyday.
