Dear patient, I would advise visiting a dentist and proper examination advised to check the lesion. The sharp tooth can be smoothened to correct the cause of problem. And tongue lesion can be treated with appropriate medication.
Next Steps
For temporary relief, use topical ointments like, mucopaine gel or rexidine ointments.
The pain might be caused by a cavity or a sharp tooth, which may also be contributing to the development of an ulcer. It is advisable to consult a dentist for a thorough evaluation and appropriate treatment.
Dear Patient,
Most likely you have a decayed tooth due to a cavity, which has indeed made the edges of the tooth slightly sharper. My advice is to take out some time & get it treated by your nearby dentist. Temporary relief isn't the permanent solution. You may end up hurting the back of the tongue more.
Hope this was helpful. Keep smiling.
