If you wish to continue your jogging/ running schedule, you will need a knee support to keep your knee safe from further injury. First you need to rest for four to five days taking medication for the pain and inflammation to subside after which you begin with walking and then jogging and then running gradually proceeding from one stage to other. Your guideline is your pain. You should make sure you progress without pain.
