Hello
I.V means Intra venous (into the vein )
Now its self explnatory
Anything like medication or fluids you are loading into ur vein is called infusion
Injection is puncturing something which is intact
So to load a medication for faster absorbing we need to puncture some intact structure politely by using syringe ,and disperse medication in into blood flow without disturbing it
I hope you understood meaning of medical terms
