It is Gynocomastia?
Hi , i was overweight before . Not overweight actually obese. I lost pretty amount of weight. I want to understand whether i have Gynocomastia or not or it is just fat. Please give me suggestions as i am planning my wedding. I have also attached my initial photo and during weight loss photo. Should i go for surgery or give my hardwork to fix this?

This looks like a superimposed photo. Anyone would have consulted a General Surgeon much before this stage came. Anyway you should consult a General Surgeon in your area for a physical examination, a few investigations and further management.

hi brother, it’s not at all gynaecomastia. It is just you lost suddenly your body weight so all fat below your skin get rid of now. The extra skin which has been left over there. It’s take time to get into normal position, so you just have to take a little bit exercise to reduce the excessive skin. It will take a lot of time to get this skin away. Okay so don’t worry, relax and lastly, it is not gynaecomastia. Regards if you further want to talk with me, it’s Dr Amit joshi at the opposite side by take care.

This is likely to be pseudogynecomastia, which occurs due to excess fat deposition in the chest area rather than glandular breast tissue. True gynecomastia involves enlargement of the breast gland and is usually firmer, sometimes tender, and may be associated with hormonal imbalances. Since your condition appears to be persistent and likely related to fat accumulation, it generally improves with weight loss. However, to rule out true gynecomastia and to evaluate the need for any intervention like liposuction, it’s best to consult a plastic surgeon.
