Based on the X-ray results, it appears that a root canal treatment (RCT) is necessary due to the tooth decay extending into the pulp chamber. This procedure will help prevent further damage and potentially save the tooth from extraction. In the meantime, I recommend avoiding hard or crunchy foods to minimize discomfort and prevent further irritation.

Yes you should get the RCT done without delay or else the tooth will further deteriorate and may not show good results with RCT. Also a clinical examination  is a must before final decision.  Many other aspects need to be checked.

Definitely yes, RCT must be done as soon as possible in this molar. As per your age, its always better to get even minor cavities repaired so that they do not progress into deep infections as happened in this tooth. 2-3 sittings of treatment, and you will be fine!!
Next Steps
RCT is recommended.
Health Tips
Avoid eating any hard food from the affected tooth till the treatment is done. Do warm saline rinses twice or thrice a day to get some relief. Do not depend on medicines for temporary relief. Visit dental setup immediately.
