Hello,
Gum recession could be due to malalignment of teeth or could be due to calculus. If it is due to malalignment of teeth, then first get the occlusion corrected. Before treatment we have to check the attachment status of the teeth. So diagnostic x-ray has to be taken. A thorough clinical examination has to be performed.Graft treatment is one option, but the underlying reason for recession has to be addressed. So visit a dentist and get the diagnosis done ,then you may proceed with the treatment.
Next Steps
visit a nearby periodontist.
Regards.

Gum receding exposing the root is surely a matter of concern.
Without further delay, visit a periodontist near you.
Graft is a good option considering you age. Nothing can be suggested until a proper checkup is done.
Check bone level in x-ray and if it's there can go for grafting , if no bone better not to go for recession coverage ,
Ask your dentist to do pinhole technq of gum coverage if sufficient bone present in xray
Next Steps
x-ray
Health Tips
proper brushing technq, bone level, graft, pinhole technq
You can go for gum grafting it is good for receding gums but it can be done after proper clinical examination and x -ray done weather your gums are able for this procedure or not.
Next Steps
so go for proper evaluation
Health Tips
brush twice a day and everybody should go for scaling atleast once in a six month to prevent gum disease.
Well sir considering your age, you should go for any procedure what your doctor suggested you in order to save your teeth. I do not know your clinical situation as of now as I haven’t seen you nor any x Ray is available which would help to exactly plan a treatment for you. Instead gum surgeries are performed by specialists known as periodontists. Kindly visit one of your nearby periodontist for the exact treatment plan.
