hello, sensitivity after teeth cleaning procedure is normal. you can ask the dentist for a sensitive toothpaste using which, the sensitivity will go away within a week. also, get your cleaning done in a number of sittings rather than in one sitting. this will too reduce the sensitivity.

Yes , mild sensitivity could be there, it depends upon how clean your tooth is. More clean your tooth already is- less sensitive. More dirt already, means more cleaning, more chance of having sensitivity!

If you feel the need for cleaning your teeth then you should definitely get your teeth checked and get cleaning done. You might feel sensitivity for a few days but not for a whole month.Using a desensitising toothpaste after cleaning will help you to manage the sensitivity.
Health Tips
After cleaning, brushing twice a day and use of mouthwash atleast once is necessary. It will help you prevent any gum diseases.

Sensitivity and mobility are temporary side effects. Doctor will prescribe you a desensitizing toothpaste and gum medication to apply.
