First consult with a General Physician in your area for examination of your throat. Let him decide if you really need antibiotics for an itchy throat. This job can be done by your Gynaecologist also.

Do gurgle with warm water and salt, take steam inhalation, take hot drinks like soup etc .. try all this 3-4 times a day, if it still persists after 2-3 days consult a physician
