I have PCOS and Hard to reduce weight.
I live in Navi Mumbai - new panvel. I have PCOS and it's hard to reduce weight. I am 62kg and want o come down to 53kgs. I don't want a liquid diet. I don't want to look sick and dull with the diet. I want a diet which doesn't affect my beauty or get me any other health problem. I don't want want to loose weight immediately and gain after few months. I want a doctor who actually finds a reason and investigates the actual reason behind my weight gain as I don't eat junk. I don't eat junk still I put on. I don't want a diet which can be decided looking at my face or a normal diet which is available on google want something personalised. Want my diet to be interesting not monotonous. I hav consulted few doctors from 2012 for acne and all looked at my face and gave me medicine which never resolved the issue. Thank god to Dr Amit Kerure who made me perform few tests and got to know I hav PCOS. I want a long term sollution. I will not take any medicine to reduce weight. I will work hard.

Hello, A liquid diet is given to patients in hospitals, otherwise this diet should not be recommended. taking pills and medications is not advisable. Yes, it is difficult and hard to lose weight when you have hormonal problem- PCOD. Gaining weight continuously can be due to a lot of reasons. Suggestion is to get checked for any underlying medical condition. -Exercise daily for an hour (Can be at home or simple exercises like running, jogging, brisk walking, on the spot marching, squats, etc) -Include protein in your diet (taking protein rich foods post workout helps in muscle building) -Increase fiber in your diet (Will help you stay full) -Include fruits and vegetables in your diet (2-3 serving) -Take 5-6 meals a day. -Water intake of atleast 3L per day -Add healthy fat like nuts to your diet. -Avoid/Exclude fried, sugary and junk food -Eat a balanced and healthy diet -Do not skip breakfast as 40% of days energy is from breakfast -Add warm milk at night with a pinch of turmeric ad pepper power, it will help with sleep problems NOTE: The above mentioned practices can change according to a specific medical condition For further query and personalized diet contact through praco consultation.
