Recently I have done my lipid profile my Total cholesterol -265 triglycerides -237 Hdl -50 Ldl -167 .Plese suggest a proper diet to reduce cholesterol.

There could me many possible reasons for increase in cholesterol.
So you need to tell us if there is any medical history or habit of drinking and smoking
Till then i can suggest you somethings like:
* You need to eradicate smoking and drinking ( if it is there )
* Oil consumption should be limited to 3 table spoon per day only.
Combination of PUFA AND MUFA is recommended like : olive oil, cannola oil, rice bran oil, mustard oil.
* Rotation of oils in every 20 -30 days is considered
* Avoid ghee, butter, creams etc
