Hole small 1 mm in my eardrum
I had done my tympanoplasty surgery of left ear 3 yrs back . After 3 yrs I consult a ENT he told me a small hole perforation seen. now my left ear discharge from small hole in my ear drum i use Cipro and sefarin table iam stress about surgy again

Small perforation in ear drum can heal with meds if not can be treated by an office based procedure like a fat myringoplasty or a paper patch ..  don't be scared of surgery word as this is a minor procedure ... Just talk to ur ent doctor and get rid of ur fears

Keep ears dry,  take precautions to avoid catching cold. Consult the doctor for medication. You can avoid surgery again.

Small perforation can be treated with medicine and generally heal well. Surgery might not be needed.
