If there is repeated discharge then surgery is the only option, but has to be done during inactive infection that is when there is no discharge After surgery it’s very essential for you to take care of the ear very very carefully You can’t let water in side you should not lift heavy weight and so Many other things Small snap things like this can result in failure of surgery
Next Steps
Get a culture and sensitivity done for your discharge So when you have discharge they send that discharge for a test which will tell you which organism is causing infection and which antibiotic will work When you take that particular antibiotic then there will be some improvement or discharge free period during which you should go for surgery
