I recently did a CBC as a part of a routine check-up. The PCV is abnormally high with 56%.
Is this something serious?
Please suggest.
I don't have any other symptoms.
Attached the report here.

PCV , is an indicator of your haemoglobin status , which is normal for your age . If your still worried just hydrate yourself around 3-4 litres per day and repeat a cbc on day 4 , and dollow up .
It's for academic interest, u need not to worry at all. I r safe.
Further u can consult haematology or pathologist for clearefication. As such no need.
It's mostly due to dehydration .. check whether you are feeling dizzy or have a headache .
It's also seen in smokers and people living inhigh altitudes due to chronic hypoxia or less oxygen to lungs.. body compensates by producing more RBC.
It may also be something big like polycythemia vera or some rare tumors but can't be concluded straightaway without further evaluation ..
Next Steps
Check for erythropoietin levels to rule out serious causes and repeat cbc after 1 month
Health Tips
Don't worry stay hydrated and quit smoking if you are smoker
According to your report your pcv isn’t much elevated it is an indicator of your Hemoconcentration which might be due to dehydration
But if you are a smoker it’s better you reduce your smoking
And get yourself adequately hydrated
And more over dont overstress and overthink and always consult a doctor
