I got my bp checked 6 months back for a visa medical test and it is absolutely fine...yesterday I was having mild period type of pain so went to gynci doctor...before checkup she checked my bp and it is 158/110.she checked for two times and it is same...iam shocked as it is absolutely fine 6 months back...somdoctor said she would not suggest me any medicines as of now...as with one day reading I can't put you on medication,she said to monitor for one week then we will decide if medication is needed...in the mng i checked at home and it is 153/97...my weight is 86,height is 5.6,I had c-section 3 yrs back and iam a software professional with too much work pressure...how long should I monitor my bp and consult doctor again...pls help me...also pls let me know if any young people are reporting any such high bp these days...
