High AFI and weight gain
Hello Doctors...I am at 25 weeks and during my fetal echo scan they found I have upper limit of normal AFI as 18.4 cm. Largest pool is 5.6 cm.Not sure on the cause. My weight has been gradually increasing in the rate of 0.5 KG per week. Done with GTT, found no sugar. Is it a risk? If so how can I reduce it. Kindly suggest 20th week I was at 71 kgs but now it has been increased to 75 KGS

Please consult your Gynaecologist who is monitoring you during this pregnancy. It needs a thorough evaluation and proper treatment and may be you may have to deliver early. So many decisions can't be taken by Tele-consultation.

Take balanced diet High protein less carbohydrates 3-4 litres water per day U can not control amniotic fluid volume. If your level 2 scan and OGTT is normal. Then generally no need to worry. Having polyhydramnios near delivery can have some complication but we have to watch till then
