It not must for everyone. If one suspect ajy defect while anomaly scan at 18-20 weeks, is there any history in parents or past child theh it is required. After 22 weeks you can take this fetal echo. During pregnancy you can not do anything except at some advanced fetal medicine centres.

It is must in present situation. To rule out any structural anomalies Any minor abnormality if  diagnosed early and it helps us for  better management postdelivery . And also to avoid medicolegal issues

It is not must. It's essential for those who have risk factors of having baby with heart disease like diabetes, being in certain drugs, etc. If there is some problem in the level 2 or anomaly scan then also they should go for it. Connect please for better understanding

Not a must.But its better to get it done because if there is any heart problem in baby delivery is planned in higher centre with paeds cardiology facility.Moreover number of babies with sporadic heart disease i.e without any family history or risk factors have increased since last 5 years.
