As it's an unavoidable situation pls try to maintain your oral hygiene as much as possible. It may cause a bit delay in the treatment process, but Covid is a very vital issue we need to avoid at any cost, that should be all of our first priority. And that is what your orthodontist is keeping into consideration, for your sake. So,  pls have patience and maintain oral hygiene strictly and wait for him or her to call you for next appointment.

Hello Arjina Our team of orthodontists at The Dental Specialists suggest you call and discuss everything with your doctor, since the treatment has already been started. It's important to maintain oral hygiene and follow your doctors instructions till the next appointment. Since the situation in Chennai is grim, your doctor is doing the right thing in postponing appointments unless it's an emergency. If you don't change braces on time, it is not harmful, but inconvenient and takes longer time. Please lend your support and take care till the situation improves.

You can wait till your doctor response ,if your doctor has taken up your case he is the in charge of your case and knows all the details and further treatment require on your case He is responsible for the correct treatment and if he is postponing then he must be knowing till when he can delay it with no complication, and also it is not a day or week procedure ...completion of treatment will take a year approx . So have faith in your doctor and be in touch with him
