Dear patient. Some patients need time to get used to the new bite. It does happen.  Give it a few weeks. If bite doesn't feel right later on too, consult your Orthodontist regarding the same. Wear retainers as prescribed by them. Rest assured.Getting an orthodontic treatment done has done you more benefit than otherwise. Hope this helped

Hi I am sure that your treating doctor would have asked about your concerns prior to treatment according to which they will tell you how much correction is possible and what the prognosis or outcome of the treatment would be. So considering braces as a treatment option is not a mistake at all. That being said if you still feel your bite is not aligned feel free to talk to your doctor about it. Now that the braces are removed if any further correction is required you would have to go through the entire thing again. Meanwhile wear your retainers properly and regularly.
Next Steps
Consider aligners or clear braces if the correction is minimal.

It might take a few weeks to get adjusted to the new bite. However, since you are not comfortable, it is better to visit the orthodontist for a follow up and get your queries answered.

Hi, Please go back to your Orthodontist as soon as possible and mention the same. Your alignment may still need to be corrected. You may also feel odd for a short time after removal of the brackets. The braces treatment is not a mistake as you are able to appreciate the new look that is seen after the treatment is completed.
