Depends upon your affordability.. Self ligating ones help you maintain hygiene better and are better aesthetically just like ceramic braces are better aesthetically than metal braces

Hi mam. Regarding choosing the type of braces regular and brand don't differ much unless those are self- ligating braces. Only if branded are self-ligating braces( meaning clip or door type braces) then you can go for it as they help in faster treatment and maintain good oral hygiene. If both regular and branded are conventional method then it is up to you to choose based on your affordability. If you are ok with the visibility of braces then go for metal. If you don't want your braces to be visible much then go for ceramic braces. Regarding food restrictions there is no choice. You have to restrict food for all types of braces as they may break with hard and sticky foods. If you want to eat everything go for Aligners(Invisalign)

Dear patient. Congratulations on starting your orthodontic treatment. It is never late. Now about diet modification - after dental braces treatment starts you can't wait khakra , pizza or other other crunchy foods. As the braces can break. If you' want to eat these , it would be better to choose Clear Aligners. Discuss with the Orthodontist about the same. Hope this helped. Avoid self diagnosis and treatment. Happy treatment!

Hi, If you are concerned about metal showing then go for ceramic braces. Between the 60k and 90k, discuss with your dentist about the advantages and decide. After treatment is started, you have to be careful while biting onto a pizza as it can break the braces bracket over the tooth. cut it into pieces and chew. Avoid chewing gum, bubble gum and sticky sweets and chocolates.
