Headache on hot or humid days with exertion is often due to dehydration, heat exposure, eye strain or migraine; keeping hair dry or not using oil is not the cause.
Drink water regularly, avoid direct heat, do not skip meals, and check your blood pressure during an episode.
Seek urgent care for a sudden severe headache, fever with neck stiffness, weakness, vision or speech change, or repeated vomiting.
